Our new home at Wellcome Genome Campus
HDRS joins range of world class scientists and data experts.
HDRS yesterday took up residence in our new offices at Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton, Cambridge.
The Campus brings together a wide range of expertise in genomics biodata and health data. Having a presence on the site marks a key step in our journey to making the UK a world leader in health data research, accelerating discoveries that lead to better treatments and outcomes for patients.
The Campus is home to a range of world class scientists and data experts with international links, including Genomics England, EMBL’s European Bioinformatics Institute, the BioData Innovation Centre the Sanger Institute and the Wellcome Trust’s Connecting Science programme
Dr Melanie Ivarsson, CEO, Health Data Research Service, said:

The Campus brings together exceptional expertise in genomics, biodata and health data, creating an environment where we can accelerate research that delivers real benefits for patients, while maintaining the highest standards of data protection and public trust.”
Colette O’Shea, Chief Operating Officer at Wellcome Genome Campus, welcomed the team to the new site and added:

HDRS will also maintain offices in Euston, London, with staff working across both sites.
