Technical Transformation Projects
Building the foundations for health data research
HDRS has today opened its first call for Technical Transformation Projects, investing in the shared technical foundations that the UK’s secure data environment network needs.
Funding is being made available for initiatives that will accelerate and standardise the technology, governance and processes underpinning health data research across the UK’s secure data environment landscape.
While we welcome the involvement of other partners, applications must be led by, or include as a core partner, one or more of the following UK health data secure environments:
- Data Safe Havens supported by Research Data Scotland (Scotland)
- HSC Business Services Organisation Honest Broker Service (Northern Ireland)
- Regional Secure Data Environments (SDEs) (England)
- SAIL Databank (Wales)
- The NHS England SDE (England).
We hope to announce successful bids in the autumn.
We look forward to partnering more widely when we open our Data Driver projects call in August.
